Synchronisation = downloading?

Post by pvandeur » Tue Aug 20, 2019 2:54 pm

Hello sorry for this beginners question ..
I do have Mediamonkey gold (MMW) on my Laptop and Media Monkey Pro (MMA) on my Samsung Galaxy A5. I tested with a few music files was able to connect MMA to MMW.
The synced files are sored at my Samsung Android phone.
What I *would* like to do is to make all my music files on MMW available for MMA. But these are 15.000 files and obviously I do not can / want these to be stored on my phone.
So my question is, can I use MMA to just play music files from the MMW library, and not download them? Or another way that avoids to download all files from the Laptop the the phone?

Thank you! Peter

You can via UPnP in MediaMonkey as long as you're on the same network: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index. ... ervers/4.0
