Visualization upload?

Post by Rovastar » Sat Oct 10, 2009 5:24 pm

Hi there folks,

I am a visualization developer (stuff for MilkDrop, R4, etc) and we finished an initial release of a new visualization (http://www.morphyre.com) that now runs of Winamp. As you use the same API here for MM I thought I could submit it to be featured on this site too. Copied the dll to the MM plugin directory and it all seems ok so just got to change a location path in the installer and it all seems good to go.

I was wondering what is the best way to get this on the Media Monkey site? I could not see any submit options.

Thanks for your time.

join mediamonkey forum, post in here and the developers will see your post. email them at their support address. and or send them a pm asking them if it can be put in the monkey as a download on thier download pages.

post a message in the scripts forum or the artwork forum annoucing the new plugin and give us a link to get it
and the members will get it if they want it.

thanks for the new visuals some here have been asking for differnt ones. only ones i can make are for inside the player its self.

Thanks for your reply.

Well I posted here so that is a good start. :)

I could find a support email address tbh and wouldn't know who to PM. Anyway hopefully someone will see this. Over the next week or so I will have a fully supported plugin for MM.

We hear and watch ;) Welcome to MM.

Only thing I would like to suggest you is to look at http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... n_Packages and make MediaMonkey Installer that will install your plugin directly into MM, also if you wish to make embed vis into MediaMonkey you should talk to PetrCBR if he can give you some pointers on how to do it also talk to Rusty regarding your vis and MM relations.

Additionally please be free ask any questions regarding MM and its features along with suggestions what to improve and like you see someone will answer.

I've tested your vis and it looks really ok especially as I have Ati HD 4890 GPU so no matter what res I put it in it just works great.
