Is there a shortcut to browse to the album when you click on the cover in PrettyPictures?

I love this plugin, but it's annoying to have to right click and select browse to album every time, as that's what I primarily use this plugin for.

My album art comes up OK in the Album Art window. But in the Pretty Pictures banner the albums are all white with just the artist and album title. Some setting I have missed?

On your first load of Pretty Pictures you need to scan your database so it can add the art to the browser. There is an icon for it in the tool bar.

Is there a way to choose PrettyPictures "Now Playing" or "Selected" similar to the AlbumArt window?

no there isn't.

at the moment, pretty pictures doens't have the option to give the selected or currently playing songs album focus..

however, if you click on the now playing node, PP will show you the albums in the playlist.

If so.. will you still use PP after it is released or will there be no need for it?
If PrettyPictures had a focus functionality like in iTunes I would have used also in MM3. As it is now I do not think there is need for it in MM3. (But for MM2 I think it is a GREAT script)

thanks for that..

well, considering MM3.0 is so far ahead of MM2.0... I don't think anyone should be holding onto MM2.0 (or would be... in there right mind)...

so if the general feeling is that in MM3 it's not needed. This script will probably not be updated until some lonely night... I would focus my scripting efforts on other things I have in mind.

HOWEVER... the focus functionality you mention may become possible in MM3 as the new scripting possibilities haven't been defined yet.

thanks for the feedback.

I am getting ALL blanks

Post by adamlewis723 »

Hello,

All my albums are just WHITE. Does it read art from the ID3v2 tag or from a file in the directory? I keep all my artwork embedded in the MP3. I also tried using folder.jpg and that didnt work either. Any suggestions?

Thank You!

Background Color

Post by abstrakt1 »

First off, I absolutely love Pretty Pictures.. I'd been searching everywhere for a Windows/MM equivalent to the iTunes Cover Flow feature! That said, I would like to suggest implementing an option to make the background a different color (the black background of the iTunes Cover Flow is great, IMHO.. really makes the album art pop.) Just my $.02. Keep it up - I totally can't wait for the 1.0 release!! :)

Doesn't work for me.

I would also suggest making the background color configurable, black would be nice.

I tried to install this on MM3 in C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey3 on Windows Vista Ultimate. It keeps throwing error after error and I can't use MM. I uninstalled Pretty pictures and it is back to normal now.

configurable background colour was always on the to do, but my schedule is crazy now and witht he release of MM 3.0 it's up in the air of whether I will get any time on this or whether it's even necessary...

and yes.. it's not MM 3.0 compatible

Dale.
