Btw I just worked a little on the script but I didn't have time to test it a lot. So it's possible that there are some regressions. Altough I tried to fix all bugs you mentioned.

Here the changes:
-Songs which aren't in your library won't be added anymore if you play them with AutoRateAccurate enabled.
-Fixed problem where songs had no DateAdded.
-Improved stability where LastPlayed was missing.
-Fixed different bugs.

But as I said: Probaby it has some new bugs because I don't have time at the moment to really test the script.

AutoRateAccurate 2.2 PreBeta 6 Debug

If there's still a bug you already mentiond try to uninstall and reinstall the script. This could also solve the problem.

Ok, here's Beta 7:
AutoRateAccurate 2.2 Beta 7 - Installer
AutoRateAccurate 2.2 Beta 7 - for manual setup

Changes since Beta 6:
-Added: New tool in the options to reset FirstPlayed-date.
-Added: Progressbar to "Reset SkipCounter".
-Changed: Improved the FirstPlayed-calculation-part a lot.
-Fixed: Some little bugs which improves the stability.

I suggest to run the "Reset FirstPlayed" (in the options) once because there were some problems in the last releases. This should correct the FirstPlayed-informations.

I hope it's stable enough so that I can release the next final soon.

Would it be possible for you save the "play counter" and "last played" date in the tags as well? I'd like my ratings to be library independent. As it stands right now, I have two copies of the library on different computers. Because the "play counter" and "last played" values are saved in the MediaMonkey database, my ratings get screwy when I sync the two computers.

Something is definitely not right. I've downloaded several times, in case it was due to a corrupt download the first time (and made sure I saved it as mmip, not zip) I've turned off UAC (because with the latest Vista updates earlier this week there no longer appears to be a "Run as Administrator" option for mmip files). Every time I try to run the file I get a message "Invalid product installation package".

Is there any reason you're distributing .zip files now? I don't want to extract raw files because I don't get the choice of saving my calculating formula (plus it's confusing

But I added it!

So check out the post with Beta 7, there's an installer now.

@CoverJaguar: Hmm... It would be possible, yes. But it would need some code and I don't know if a lot people need that. And I don't want to add possible problematic parts. But since this has nothing to do with autorating directly. I'd ask for an additional script which syncs this informations. I would do it by myself but unfortunately I don't have time at the moment... I'm sorry...
But why don't you just install the script on one pc? At least the ratings won't change then.
