Thanks for the new version! Sadly it only worked a few times, after closing and restarting MediaMonkey I got "error while connecting". Meanwhile it doesn't work at all, even a reboot of the PC doesn't help now. But the old version still works. Any idea?

I have the exact same issue - my log shows the exact same messag. It only seems to happen if I start MM with MonkeyFlow open - if I open MonkeyFlow after MM starts, it works fine.

Running MM 3.2.0.1294.

Works wonderful on Win 7 now, thank you!
The only thing is: I don't get the menu (mouse right-click) in full.screen mode. Is anyone else experiencing this?

The v1.1 worked fine, but I don't have a copy of it to revert back to in order to test completely. I used to have modified config settings in MM.ini for MonkeyFlow v1.1, but removed them completely when I ran into this trouble - it made no difference.

(Running 3.2.0.1294)
Are you running any anti-virus software on your computer?

I've posted a new version of MonkeyFlow that that fixes some startup connection issues that some people were experiencing. Thanks to fizzjob and Aff for reporting and testing the issue!

Should we uninstall the previous version before installing the new version?

Oh, of course... Changed MonkeyFlow to a trusted application in Kaspersky's protection list and it all works fine.

Thanks

Just make sure MM is shutdown and copy the new files over the existing ones.

Please read the first post. It explains how to change the font. (quoted below)
flashk wrote: You can specify additional options by creating a [MonkeyFlow] section in your MediaMonkey.ini with the following values:
  • CacheDirectory = Directory to cache album art
  • MaxCoverSize = Maximum width or height of cached art. Art above this size will be resized
  • ScrollIncrement = Number of albums to increment when scrolling with mouse wheel
  • SelectTracksDelay = Delay (in seconds) between cover being selected in MonkeyFlow and tracks displayed in main tracks window (only applicable in embedded mode). Use -1 to prevent MonkeyFlow from modifying main tracks window.
  • NowPlayingDelay = Delay (in seconds) between now playing track changing in MediaMonkey and MonkeyFlow jumping to selected album cover.
  • AutoHideDelay = Delay (in seconds) for hiding UI elements marked as Auto.
  • Font = Font to use for displaying album information.
INI Example:

Code: Select all

[MonkeyFlow]
CacheDirectory = C:\MonkeyFlowCache
MaxCoverSize = 400
ScrollIncrement = 1
SelectTracksDelay = 1.0
NowPlayingDelay = 0.0
Font = arialbd.ttf

flashk,

Just wanted to say thanks so much for this awesome bit of software. My "com" error is gone now and I'm enjoying it once again. How can we MF fans help convince MM to do an official integration so everyone can enjoy MF?

I'm not sure that is a good idea, since MonkeyFlow doesn't work on a number of PCs with integrated graphics cards. This is probably best left to an add-on.
