Hi there. I have a problem with this script. I have a new computer running with windows 7, and this script is not working correctly on it.

I have moved my database and relocated all my music (they are still on the other computer, I access them through the network). When I try to use the script it starts fine, going from "loading initial recent tracks" to downloading a few pages, but when it arrives to a specific pages (the third one of 2084) it reverse to 'loading initial recent tracks" for around 30 seconds to one minutes and then starts downloading the first three pages again and stops at the same point, and that keeps going like this in a loop. I have tried leaving it on for the night but when I woke up it was still on the loop.

The script is working fine on the other computer.

What can I do to fix this ?

I'm still unable to use the Importer at all. When I click to use it, my cursor goes into an hourglass for about 2 seconds, then goes back to normal. No dialog box appears ever. The debugger shows this:

[6788] Current User Scripts Folder: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Scripts\
[6788] Current User Scripts Folder: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Scripts\
[6788] Scripts Folder: C:\MediaMonkey\Scripts\
[6788] Events: Destroying TScriptExec: C:\MediaMonkey\Scripts\LastFmImport.vbs

I have a portable installation, so I don't know why it looks in the user folder. I tested putting the files in that folder as well and still, nothing would happen - I never get the dialog box to show up.

I'm on version 4.1.5.1719, and testing 3.3 of the importer.

Thanks.

Many thanks to the developer of this wonderful script! It made my life so easier.
But I need help. The script does not update the play count for some of the songs from this album (namely: Скованные одной цепью, Князь тишины, Взгляд с экрана). Only last play date.
My Last.fm profile. Here is the log for Князь тишины:

Run the script (tools/scripts/lastfm importer), you'll get a popup asking your lastfm username, that's it...

+1 for this! Would love to have that option as I'd prefer using the Recently Played list V3 instead of the weekly charts V2.

I used this add-on ("Last FM Play Importer Python 0.3" is how it appears in MM's Extensions window) yesterday and had no problems.

I'm a newcomer to mediamonkey that's had partial success with this script. It's worked for the majority of my library, but for some reason not all of it. Out of about 13000 tracks in my library, about a quarter failed to update at all and are showing a play count of 0, despite scrobbles being present on last.fm. I'd appreciate if anyone could tell me why it failed/what I can do to fix it. Thank you!

I've uploaded the log file here: http://filebin.ca/2N4ppvx5xki7

Not sure if there's a better place to put the log file, hopefully that will work.

I have exactly the same issue. Hope someone is capable of fixing the script since author seems to have abandoned it

Using v 2.4 seems to solve the <type 'exceptions.AttributeError'>: 'TypeNone' object has no attribute 'findall' error. You can get it here:
