So If I select the Discogs tagger, it still uses amazon?

I figured it out. Just put the discogs number into the search box and it finds the proper album.

Re: Discogs Tagger 3.3 (Updated: 2011-11-10)

Post by nzdreamer55 »

This tagger has really been great for me. Obviously I am still learning all the in's and outs about it. I wanted to see if there was a way to map specific fields from discogs to fields within mediamonkey ID3 tags. For example now the Format field may contain "CD,Single,Promo". Right now it maps to Custom #4 field. What if I want to map it to Custom #5?

Thanks

Hi there,

I'm trying to use this addon but get the following error when doing lookups: Cannot query the web site - The system cannot locate the object specified.

I'm running Windows 8 if it makes any difference. Is there something else I should have installed?

Thanks.

See http://www.discogs.com/blog
It looks like they made some changes - I wonder if they have broke the API :-?

Discogs tagger seems to be broken, perhaps due to http://www.discogs.com/blog ?

Any updates pending???

The plugin does not work anymore due to a change n the Discogs site. Will there soon be an update of the plugin?

I got the same issue but it started only when I installed the newest MM beta version. Now trying to switch back to an older and will see if that fixes it again.

The issue is not the MM version, I tried with several...

I just noticed that the mp3tag forum is also reporting that their Discog tagger is also broken so we are not alone :(

So do we all but as the Author last visited the site in May we may be in for a long wait
Also the Discogs API site is not showing any recent changes in the changelog (last entry 15th May) so where to start?

From the API Documentation page
Note: We’re continually improving the API; breaking changes may occur.
Yeah - thanks

I just checked and isn't for me :(
Still getting
Cannot query the web site - The system cannot locate the object specified.
Are you using V3.3?

Edit: It must have been the couple of albums I was using to test as trying another artist it worked OK :-?
However I cannot remember ever seeing that message before so something appears to have changed.
