Great plugin - but i need a little help.
I have a blank iTunes DB and a full MediaMonkey DB.
AutoSync in Plugin is enabled, but when i click sync, all files will becopied like this screenshot:

Do all files have to be duplacted on my harddisd or do i have to scan my MP3 NAS with iTunes before ?

For any of you who are interested I have been working on a replacement plugin which will work with MM 4.0.
http://www.mediafire.com/?1mfo9x4rof79ufz

You'll need to install MM 4.0 beta to try it out http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... =6&t=54426. The usual caveats about not installing unless you are prepared to lose your entire MM and iTunes databases.

Note: This is an alpha release so please only try it out of curiosity.

It is only compatible with MM 4.0 - there are differences in how the new version uses plugins.
Do NOT install it alongside the existing MM 3 release
It does not work completely.
I will NOT respond to reports of functions not working.

Hi Mark.
I added your MM4 dll in my MediaMonkey 4.1353 testconfiguration.
By clicking the iTUnes i got this error: Method 'Location' not supported by automation object.

I tried different settings, but can't get the plugin to work :(
Only the first sync after start seems to work

So 10.2 is working with MM3, or just MM4? Looks like I may need to look into upgrading MM.

How do I prevent itunes adding artwork to my files each time I sync? It's adding very low res and sometimes the wrong files completely, replacing the good quality art files I've tagged in mediamonkey.

tattoosh that is because MonkeyTunes is running the queries above in your error box. It must be conflicting with i_Tunes.DLL trying to open a database transaction.

For those who just can't wait .... http://www.mediafire.com/file/1mfo9x4ro ... Tunes4.dll this was tested against build 1357.

... and I'm still NOT supporting it!

I have a question about MMiTunesCache. I am syncing and it seems that it will only cache my files and never redirects to my main music directory. Is there a way that it will repoint or is my only option is to modify my itunes xml file to repoint to my source files.

If I try to just live with the Cahced files, it never builds the folder structure. So either solution is not working for me at this time.

I think you are asking 2 questions
1 can I not have copies of my music in Mmitunescache?
2 can I have the same folder structure as in MM?

1 Set MMitunescache to ""
2 Set Playlist folders to "build folders"

Not that for the second point that this refers to the playlist folders and not the tracks. The Mmitunescache folder will never have sub directories.

Which version of d_iTunes vs iTunes vs MM3/4 versions should be using.

Can we get links and a loadlineup with those three versions.

Follow the links to Mediafire at the start of this thread for downloads.

You MUST use the correct plugin for the 2 versions of MM.
For MM3 use d_itunes.dll
For MM4 use d_itunes4-yyyymmdd.mmip

The MM4 ones have been tested with the latest MM4 version at the point of posting. These are still in beta release so there is still no covering documnetation or support.

These all work with ANY version of iTunes.

New version of MM4 plugins available today. Beta release only so be prepared to see incompatible changes.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/hc85klr0p ... 10509.mmip
http://www.mediafire.com/file/8ec8jdk80 ... 10509.mmip

The d_itunes4 plugin is definitely MM4 only.
The d_symlink driver is tested under MM4 but also seems to work under MM3 but no guarantees!

Give me some feedback please.
