Well if the page cannot be found then all I can think is that your file structure is not correct. Which skin are you using?

Tried to look for this but with 16 pages of entries it's a bit daunting. I did hit at least half of them and a search came up empty. The only thing I found was a French poster with the same issue but no resolution.

My issue is the 5.1 (which I just installed) is coming up 100% blank. Just a browser window saying nothing found. I removed 4.1 before installing 5.1. This is in Windows 7 x64.

One thing I've noticed is MonkeyRok isn't paying attention to my folder structure. MediaMonkey is installed in E:\Sound\MediaMonkey3 but MonkeyRok keeps creating C:\ProgramData\MediaMonkey\Extentions.... Is that correct?

Getting a bit further. After a few installs/uninstalls MonkeyRok is now installed and not using the above folder (no idea why it did before).

Now what I'm seeing is, under Tools\Options\MonkeyRok Settings\Skin I have the options for brushed, classic and dark with variations for each. If I select any of them I get:

Error #70 - Microsoft VBScript runtime error
Permission Denied
File: "E:\Sound\MediaMonkey3\Scripts\Auto\MonkeyRok.vbs", Line: 1506, Column 6

I then get told an error happened during script executive and then the skin changes.....

Odd. I suspect some part of 4.1 was somehow left behind and is screwing me up. Any ideas?

Line 1506 is where MR tries to create its Temp directory.
Check its location in options, and write rights.

Thanks. That was it and it appears to have been a remnant from 4.1 somehow. I installed Windows 7 (from XP) and restored my MM database. The temp folder was pointing to the old structure of "Documents and Settings" which doesn't exist under Win7.

The ironic part of this is that IF I ever need a debug file it's hard-coded to point at this same outdated folder structure (first setting under More for MR's settings).

No Biography Displayed For AC/DC

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but I cannot get Biography to display for AC/DC.
Is the "/" causing this problem?

This has been mentioned before and I thought I'd fixed it. I'll put it back on my list to have another look though.

Excellent script, especially the tabs version. :D

I have 1 request though: Could you please add <grouping> to the "extra info" option?

Keep up the good work

"Weird Al" Yankovic Problem

Thanks.

Unfortunately, I found another problem.

When a "Weird Al" Yankovic track comes on, MonkeyRok doesn't even replace the previous artist info.
Apart from the top Now Playing section, it just ignores all the rest.

Probably the double quotes causing the problem.

Hi I'm getting the same blank ie screen that pinpin posted. I have MediaMonkey 3.2.0.1294 which had monkey rok 4.1 installed.
That was working fine a while back. i haven't used it recently.
I uninstalled 4.1 then installed 5.1
I'm using chrome as my default browser would that effect things? Do i need the latest version of internet explorer for this to work.
cheers

UPDATE:
Have just tied uninstalling 5.1 then reinstalling 4.1. This worked fine.
Still no joy when reinstalling 5.1 though:(

Using Chrome should not affect anything as it is also IE that is used. Having the latest version installed and correctly setup would definitely be a good place to start. What 5.1 skin are you using?

I have only ever used the bundled skins for MM. Was using gilded at the time.
And tried automatic for the skin on MR. No Joy
Tried changing the skins in MR a few times and eventually got MR to work.
Very glitchy and crashed a few times though.
got following errors:
Line: 1039
Error: Permission denied: 'ele.style'

What is the most stable skin you would suggest?

IE was up to date the whole time.

Hi richiefinger. The skins developed prior to MonkeyRok 5 will NOT work.
If I may suggest something.
You need to uninstall all old MonkeyRok skins, then go and download some new ones developed for MonkeyRok 5.
After you have uninstalled all the old MonkeyRok skins, go to:
C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\MonkeyRok\skins
and delete all the old skin folders.
