Try to register the dll. open command-line, go to the mediamonkey directory and type :

regsvr32.exe msxml3.dll

I'm not too sure how to do that.

I am also receiving a similar error as the person above mentioned... I just did a complete uninstall of mediamonkey and all extensions. I deleted all excess files, and trace files for any scripts and extensions. I then did a fresh install of all scripts and extensions and Darklyrics and Lyricator are the only two not working. Lyricators error is that it just wont connect to the internet. Does not pertain to the errors i am receiving on the Darklyrics script. When i select one or multiple files, I get the same error as the one shown above. When i select okay, i then get another error stating:

Error happened during script execution:
The download of the specified resource has failed

If you could help with this i would be extremely grateful!

Please look in the folder c:\windows\system32 Is there a file called msxml6.dll ?
Then do the following :

Press the windows key + R
Type cmd in the small window and press return
type in the black window cd c:\windows\system32 and press return
type regsvr32.exe msxml6.dll and press return
Press okay in the new window
close the black window

I did regsvr32.exe msxml6.dll successfully., and also tried installing MSXML6 separately. Nothing worked.

I found the bug.

Magistrix.de changed their website. The script extract a non valid url and try to open it with MSXML.
MSXML think "What's this, this is no url" and throw the error message...

For a work-around disable magistrix.de in the options. I release a new version soon.

Please leave a feedback if it still doesn't work.

Just updated to 3.2... Still not working. Either with the website enabled or disabled.
The Error is :

Error #-2146697208 - msxml6.dll
The download of the specific rescource has failed.

I loved using the extension... easily my number one go to addon for Mediamonkey... When it worked.

please disable the azlyrics.com in the options and test it again.

Yes, disabling AZlyrics did the trick for me! I would love to use this site again though, as they do have a stupid amount of lyrics!

So dont hate me on this thread... I just keep running into these weird errors and i dont know why and i wanted to share them with you. I have about 750 songs without lyrics. I ran darklyrics thru all of those songs, and it came back with quite a few and i was very pleased. But a good amount of the lyrics saved as repeats for the entire album. Then, two whole albums bounced back with (lyrics unavailable)... I did not look at them prior to saving but i did realize it afterwards.



So ya, dont know why that happened. But you seem like a great developer so i was guessing youd wanna try and ultimately have a bug free script!

No, I don't hate you. I'm happy someone using my script. And yes, i want to have a bug free script. So if you find a bug, report it !

I realized yesterday, that DarkLyrics.com banned the IP like AZLyrics.. This should explain why two whole albums bounced back with no lyrics available.

But i can't understand why the lyrics saved as repeats for the entire album.. Please check the lyrics again for one album and report the result.

Is there a way to add this script to the MM toolbar like 'Lyricator'? That would be most helpful.
And another request is that, can you create a script to retrieve data such as artist, album, track names, track number, year from 'Metal-Archives'.
Also genre and label from 'MetalStorm (.net)'?

adding an icon to the toolbar is no problem. You can find it in the next release of DarkLyrics.
Retrieving data from Metal-Archives and MetalStorm are a bigger problem. Let me see what i can do

Which version of MM you installed ? Did you try the portable version ? i know that some scripts have problems with the portable Version and i didn't tried the script with it.
