I'd find it a big help if the app were able to ignore the word "The" at the beginning of album titles and instead sort by the first letter of the second word.
Eg, "The Soft Bulletin" by The Flaming Lips would be sorted to S, rather than T.
Some people also like to ignore "A" as well, but this doesn't effect me personally, so I don't know how much use it would be.

Personally I don't make use of this with my Music for whatever reason but do with Movies/TV so I agree this is a feature that should be implemented and wouldn't be at all complicated to make. Likely though this won't happen until MMA 2.0 because it's a minor issue, and everything feature or polish related seems to be getting held off until then.
