Mediamonkey not controllable on Bluetooth connection to Chevy Volt (Gen2)

Post by desram » Sat Dec 21, 2019 9:44 pm

Just got a new Chevy Volt Gen2. My phone is a OnePlus 7 Pro. When I pair it with the car it seems to pair OK. However the car's display doesn't recognize mediamonkey at all and I can't browse tracks at all via the car's interface. MMA seems to be totally unresponsive to the play & track buttons on the car. Also it displays unknown for the current track. If I hit play on the phone app it plays over the car speakers fine.

I have tried:
-messing with the AVRCP version in the phones Dev Mode
-repairing several times
-I set MMA as the default music player for the phone
-playing music with Google Play Music, that works fine and the car display controls and displays track info fine

Any other ideas? Thanks all.

Hi,
Can you make few pictures on how you use dashboard commands with GPM and with MMA on same tracks? Have you tied to force close GPM before you open MMA?
