Audio Wireless network

Post by achillezavata » Thu Feb 17, 2011 1:06 pm

Hi all,
I am using MM since a couple of year with around 90.000 files of different type mp3, wav, flac, ape... and it works perfectly.
MM is randomly choosing album after album in the entire library without any problem.
But I have moved home and I need to set up a wireles network for the music between my computer and my audio sytem as they are a bit far from each other. Audio Cable are running through the flat and not very nice.

My audio system does not have a key USB input.

So is anyone know how to send the music from my computer to my audio system without cable?

Thanks
Achille

You can see if you can find a FM transmitter with an ac to dc adapter or modify a car one with an adapter.

Get an Airport Express which is a wireless AP/Router that has an audio output. Google it.

Then install Remote Speaker Output (or Airfoil) to send the signal by wifi to the AEx.

This should be much better sound than an FM transmitter.
