missing from MM5; horizontal mouse wheel support[#16406] & File|CreateReports [#16277]

#1. It is disappointing that MM5 has not grown support horizontal mouse scrolls as part of the re-write ... ie. a second scroll wheel on advanced mice, which scrolls the window horizontally ... surely these are supported by whatever platform the MM rewrite is based upon.

If my window doesn't have enough space to display the full width, I can scroll this document, that I created with MM4, in left and right directions using my mouse. ... but MM5 itself still ignores this mouse wheel.

#2. In MM5, I seem to lost the facility to be able to create the file, linked to above .. I was expecting that File|CreateReports option was being left to the end of your re-write ... but maybe it has been dropped ?

I would miss the following:

• Music Library Statistics ... call me geeky, but I like looking at those

• I write the list of my recent albums to a html file, similar to the one above, and I store the file on the Internet. ... When I travel, I have access to my whole collection, on a portable 3tb WiFi drive, and also everything is uploaded to my Google Play Music library ... but I don't have MM available to me, so the HTML lists, that I can make with MM4, are handy references to what is new, or things I want to focus on for some reason

I just noticed that the Chrome Browser does a horizontal scroll if I scroll the normal mouse wheel, while holding the shift key down ... that's neat ... MM5 could be made to do that ?

It is good that MM5 now a supports horizontal mouse wheel, something which MM4 didn't do. Thanks.

But MM5 has also gone significantly backwards in re mouse support. MM4 has smarter mouse scrolling:

• if the active panel had a horizontal scroll bar, but no vertical scroll bar, the mouse wheel automatically scrolled horizontally in MM4 ... broken in MM5

• in MM4, the Shift key switches a mouse scroll to a horizontal scroll ... broken in MM5
