[Req] Automatic Configurable Playlist Export [#17894]

My main use case for Media Monkey is to create playlists for other devices. I store all of my music on a NAS and then create playlists on that NAS for use by a hardware player.
In MM4 there are the following facilities:
Automatically export playlists (from named set) at shutdown.
Paths in playlist files : Relative and Unix.
How do I do this with MM5 ?

MM4
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:326, Massive Attack - Girl I Love You
../../../FLAC/Massive Attack/Heligoland/04. Girl I Love You.flac
#EXTINF:453, Daniel Avery - Sensation
../../../FLAC/Daniel Avery/Song for Alpha/05 Daniel Avery - Sensation.flac
#EXTINF:411, Kraftwerk - Sex Object
../../../FLAC/Kraftwerk/Techno Pop/06. Sex Object.flac

MM5
Z:\FLAC\Massive Attack\Heligoland\04. Girl I Love You.flac
Z:\FLAC\Daniel Avery\Song for Alpha\05 Daniel Avery - Sensation.flac
Z:\FLAC\Kraftwerk\Techno Pop\06. Sex Object.flac

In MMW4 this is done through a Third Party Addon, such an Addon hasn't been ported to or created for MM5.

Hi,
are you referring menu File > Create Reports > Export all playlists... ?

Same problem for me,

I am using Minimserver/Bubbleupnp for reading the exported playlists from mediamonkey.
I would very much like to have this function back in MMW5

Hi, can you please elaborate which feature are you referring/missing ?

Do you mean the native/vanila (already implemented) MM5 menu > File > Create Reports > Export all playlists... ?
i.e. to adjust it to relative paths rather than absolute ?

Or are you referring a MM4's third party addon ?

Hi Ludek
It's a third party addon
http://solair.eunet.rs/~zvezdand/Export ... bNodes.htm

Export all playlists creates a bit of a mess for me because it actually creates duplicates.

Ludek,
MM5 generates for each song one line with driveletters and backslashes.
What I need is the way MM4 generated the playlistfiles, just like Bananahead wrote:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:326, Massive Attack - Girl I Love You
../../../FLAC/Massive Attack/Heligoland/04. Girl I Love You.flac
#EXTINF:453, Daniel Avery - Sensation
../../../FLAC/Daniel Avery/Song for Alpha/05 Daniel Avery - Sensation.flac
#EXTINF:411, Kraftwerk - Sex Object
../../../FLAC/Kraftwerk/Techno Pop/06. Sex Object.flac
So slashes in stead of backslashes, no driveletters and '#EXTINF:' label in front of the lines.
I think this is the 'extended M3U' specification, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M3U
This was working fine in MM4, without extra addon.

Is there an update for this?

Is the request accepted?

Although this definitely remains something that could be solved by an Addon it has been added to our tracker as: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=17894 for review as a build in solution.
