Hello! Is there a Amazon Fire Stick app that we can use to access our MM5 stuff?

Really? It specifically says it's not compatible with a Fire Stick. Did I miss something?

Any DLNA capable App should be able to stream from MediaMonkey: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... ervers/5.0

I guessed that they made if below minimal :( Anyway Lowlander advice should work.

I do not have that device, maybe you can side load it.

Here is an article I have found https://troypoint.com/how-to-install-kodi-on-fire-tv/ that maybe help you, but can't guaranties it is authentic and it will not break your device. At least it will get you an idea.

Same, you need a DLNA capable App on the Roku and you can stream from MediaMonkey. I believe Roku themselves have one.

You aren't very customer service oriented; are you?

This is what another customer said on another thread.
"I don't mean sending some hyperlinks to different websites which all have some part of the solution. That's just lazyness. "

Bad spelling aside, they are 100% right.

So true, I stand corrected. I'll stay in topic and answer only questions regarding Amazon Fire Stick not Roku. Was just trying to politely say not hijacking topic and supply valuable info.

It is, once you restore post caught in auto "Off Topic" Filtering and provide answer for device on that device official forum that explains how you can play network tracks using requested device.

If anyone finds this offending, I apologize, it was not my intent and my answers were too short than usually expected of me and are 100% not based on laziness, but on lack of same devices in hand and best estimate based on my almost 30 Years Broadcasting/Streaming/Manufacturing/Developing/Debuging/Solving/Repairing/.... experience say that should quickly work according to search I have done regarding "DLNA client app on Roku" and for fire stick it was easier I knew Kodi was one of solutions in some other Amazon devices.

Hey all, I figured out how to get MediaMonkey on the Fire Stick. But when I try to launch it I get a message that says the Google Play Service needs to be updates. It won't let me, though.

Ideas?

Hi,
I guess you sideloaded google version not Amazon one.

You need to get Amazon one APK not Google play as it need Play services to function.

I know it is an old version but you should try to use one that works on FiiO devices that do not allow play services installed http://fiio-file.fiio.net/whitelists/mediamonkey.apk

Some users say that using that version they were able to upgrade to latest one. If that Version works latest one should also work.

Please note that MMA is not D-Pad navigation optimized, but we are working on MMA 2.0 that is D-Pad optimized and have TV Mode UI (Nexus Player, nVidia Shield, Sony/Philips/FOX TVs,...), but it is not yet available.

Please let us know if that one works and we will check what can be done with Amazon.
