Problems with syncing

Mm 5 won't sync playlists to android. Process always freezes. I am able to drag and drop normally using file manager (not media monkey)

Which build of MM5 (Help > About) are you using and I'm assuming you're doing a USB Sync? Do you have MediaMonkey for Android installed?

Yes. Mm5 on pc and latest mm for android. Usb sync. Again, no problems manually transferring with file manager but is unable to sync with media monkey.

Which exact build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey 5? The latest build (2420) fixes an Sync issue from the final 5.0.0.2338 release: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86639&sd=d

I am not currently in a place with internet access for my laptop. What happens when the new patch doesn't fix this issue? What's causing the problem now?

I tried to update using mobile data tethering and it says 5.0.0.2338 is the current version. This isn't good enough. There is no solution to this problem. I don't understand. I used the program to try to search for an update and it didn't work. Why did you break the application? Is it because you want users to pay?

You need to enable the Include beta builds option if you want MediaMonkey to see build 2420 when checking for updates.

It's inconsistent. It worked last night but not now

2420. The playlists wont update. Frozen again.

Please capture the full Sync and MediaMonkey crashing in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86643

Please do this with the debug version of build 2422. This will allow a developer to analyze why in your setup MediaMonkey is crashing on Sync.
