MediaMoney Alternative on Mac
Recently changed my working environment to Mac but no Mac version from official download page. What's the best alternative on Mac?
Re: MediaMoney Alternative on Mac
Hi,
Patience, we plan to release MAC version after MM5 gets stable.
Unfortunately, I do not use MAC yet so I can't help with alternative.

Playback settings for Virtual Box VM
Hallo,
I have iMac i7, 24GB RAM, 5K. I installed MM in Virtual Box Virtual Machine, Windows 10, installed Display Adapter is "VirtualBox Graphics Adapter fpr Windows 8+".
In MM there is "MM codec pack Trial" installed.
Playback of videos with "Windows Media Player" works fine while playbeck in MM doesn't work; breaks, squares are schown...
What would be an optimal settings for playing videos inside VM in MM:
- VirtualBox VM Display settings
- Windows Display addapter
- Codecs to be installed

Re: Running MM under Mac OS X with Wineskin
Hi,
Most likely problem is that "VirtualBox Graphics Adapter fpr Windows 8+" do not have all the Hardware Acceleration support that MMW uses. you should ask in Virtual Box forums for Enabling and optimizing DXVA2, OpenGL and OpenCL apps, but I'm guessing problem is in emulation and that Virtual Box needs optimized settings to make this work.
MMW and MM5 do not officially support working on VM environment, but it is know to be working to some degree.
After MM5 gets stable we will be more looking to make native MAC version of MM5.

Re: Running MM under Mac OS X with Wineskin
Okay so this is still not stable then? I am also running an iMac and looking to a MAC OSX version ASAP. There is no better time than now for your product to shine for Apple users... I am getting pushed to buy an iCloud subscription by Apple and they are screwing with my Sonos interoperability, itunes sharing and photo libraries. Proprietary lock-in stuff and really annoying.. every answer I get is "Everything work if you move all your data to AppleTV & icloud".
Help me MediaMonkey... your my only hope.

Re: Running MM under Mac OS X with Wineskin
Hi,
From what you describe it looks like Video emulation is struggling and MM tries to use Hardware acceleration of virtual driver and possibly Upscaling to 5k.
try using/installing k-lite codec and start non skinned version.

4 days ago I updated my mac and now when I want to open MediaMonkey it's just downloading and that's it nothing happens. Is there any chance to solve it?

I guess as everyone via a Wineskin application that can run natively on Mac OSX. Isn't it the only option?

MMW5 first, then MMA 2, then they'll look towards MM5 for MACOS and/or Linux. Somewhere in there they may work on MMS (MediaMonkey Server) as well.
