I have a few ideas to improve MM, but I noticed that the official wishlist hasn't been updated in 4 years. I assume that is the type of thread that devs would pay the most attention to, organized and constructive. But it looks like it doesn't get used anymore, does it even pay for me to organize my ideas and present them to you guys?
Thanks

Did you try the first 2 bullet points?

Even if the official thread were being updated you'd need to start a new topic if you're presenting a new request.

yes, I realize that I would need to start my own thread first, and that I still can.
My point is; will these suggestions ever get shown to the developers despite the lack of presenting them in an organized and practical way, aka the 'official' thread?
Or is this a for people to voice their opinions just so they can feel like they are heard?
I mean no disrespect by that ^^ But I have seen many forums for games and other programs where there are good practical wishlists and bug fixes compiled by large communities and presented in a professional way and it seems like the devs don't even bother to read them.

I have found the developers pretty responsive.

Just post your request and based on user feedback, feasibility and fit with the grand plan for MediaMonkey it may get implemented at some point.

I've unstickied the topic, it's hardly an official wishlist anymore. The moderator who created it doesn't even use the forum any more, so it has not been maintained for a very long time.

Re: Official Thread hasn't been updated in 4 years?
Would it be possible to restrict it so that posts to it have to go through a moderator? I hate the idea of it becoming just another place for posts that haven't been checked. More lint in the navel

That's pretty much what it was before, the topic was locked so only a moderator could edit and/or post there. It's simply too much to maintain.dtsig wrote:Would it be possible to restrict it so that posts to it have to go through a moderator?
