Problem with My Network Places

Post by dickcooper » Tue Oct 16, 2007 10:48 am

I have been using MM3 to take over 1TB of WAVs, convert them to MP3 and put them on a new iPod. It does all this fine, having taken advice from these forums. I can see all my music through the MM3 interface perfectly. However, for the last 24 hours I cannot see the music through My Network Places. Is this anything to do with MM? Can anyone suggest a fix?

How are you sharing them? If you are sharing them over windows vista, by choosing share media, then it could be that because your files are now associated with MM they are not accesible. This is just a guess. If it were true you could fix it by manually sharing the folders over the network as opposed to just sharing media.

last.fm signatures don't work anymore, which is sad. Any easy replacement?

I am using XP, sadly, not Vista.

I am simply using MM3, having updated the library from my NAS, to synchronise with the iPod and convert to MP3 on the fly
