New Nano Not Working with MM

OK, I'm perplexed and a bit upset...

No matter how I try moving content to my new Nano using MM, I can't play it.

I've tried direct copying, syncing, playlists, podcasts....

It shows up on the Nano but nothing will play...

I sure hope there's a workaround as I cannot fathom the idea of being forced to use iTunes...

Note: Above occurs when using latest RC of Beta..

I installed the current release version of 2.5 and MM shows content as being on the nano but when I go to the device itself it shows nothing...

What options do you have selected in iPod configuration?

do you have "force itunes style folders" checked?

if so.. go to my computer and navigate to your ipod.. tell us where teh files are stored (are they in the root directory?) - if you can't find them, they're probably in a hidden folder - but let us know.

Force itune style is checked...

Files are under my standard /Music folder, not hidden...

They "appear" to be on the nano but won't play..

Out of desperation I downloaded Winamp and the iPod plugin and it works flawlessly....

Strange, My Nano 3G works flawlessly with the latest release of MM3.
I can even use iTunes to sync my movies and nothing gets corrupted.
Do you use "Sync to iPod" when trying to put music on your Nano?

Yes; I have tried every option, including doing a compete reset of the Nano.

Since I have Winamp working I'll probably just not press my luck and go with it. I got some use out of my MM Gold purchase...

1) Run MM 3.0.1.1116, connect your iPod, delete all the content from your iPod via the iPod node.
2) Verify that iPod compatibility settings are enabled
3) Autosynch your tracks.

If this doesn't work, please send a copy of your iPod's DB and a debug log of step 3 (see 'how to report a bug' post at the top of the beta forum).

Thx.
