auto convert to aac w/plugin causes ipod reboot

Post by AltairJr »

I am using the new plugin for MM that allows conversion to aac. When I use it in the auto convert for my ipod, no matter what settings I use (VBR or ABR, low quality to high quality) my ipod, or itunes when connected recognize no time length for any song, as a consequence whenever I try to play a song on the iPod - it reboots on me.

Thought it might be the iPod, but auto-convert works just fine with mp3s. Will try later with the m4a, etc. settings to see if it is a uniform issue for me.

I do apologize if this is a known problem, but I wasn't seeing it anywhere in the forums.

I have the same problem... Did you ever arrive at a fix?

Hello,
I'm the poster in post #2 in this thread, and I just discovered that setting them to auto-convert to m4a instead of aac fixed my problem... Go figure!
