eheh, maybe i'm spamming, but it's ok :P
installed the new version. good job. i just have a couple of things to say:
i noticed that the visualizer tool always takes some seconds (like ten) before appearing, when restoring the main player from mini or micro mode. normal?
the microplayer seems now perfect. i just tought that the volume bar could be in the place of the restore button, and vice versa, cause in mini and main player the the restore or enlarge buttons usually are in the upper-right corner.
and last (and maybe least) i think that the visualizer should be centered vertically in the bar where it actually is. it seems aligned too much to the bottom. who knows...

I noticed that with the visualizer too, but I don't think its anything that I can change.

I like your idea with the Microplayer, I'll look into it.

I tried the visualizer in a few different positions and put it where I thought it looked best. I think it looks strange if there is no line below it, and this location is the easiest way of getting it in. Certainly I'm still up for any other ideas, however.

@Everyone else: Thanks for the compliments, they are much appreciated!

I like where the visualizer is, i was just wondering if you could center it a bit more. i mean, place it some pixel over it's actual position.
maybe i'm attaching a screenshot if i can't explain myself (as usual :) ).
I don't have no time for no MediaMonkey buisness...

Fraxav uses a Windows XP Home Edition SP2 on an Acer Aspire 5670 laptop with an Intel Core Duo T2300 (1.66 GHz) processor, ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 512 MB, 100 GB Hard Disc and 1 GB DDR2 Ram.

I like the changes nohitter.. functions so much better ^^

I also like the volume bar in micro player, but it just doesn't seem to quite fit right. It makes the bar a lot longer as well as making more empty space below it. I don't know what should be there... maybe the stop button underneath it?

And the volume bar would prob look better on the bottom half, with the restore button, just as Fraxav said.

Still waiting for a seek bar on the micro player....

As for the visualizer, i can't really think of a way for it to blend in... if you can't make the background transparent, then its gonna be hard to make it blend in. Also I find it very isolated in the bottom right hand corner, there too much room on the left of it. too bad we can't have the visualizer as part of the controls. And yes, the visualizer looks best at the bottom, rather than centered in the middle, it does need the line underneath it.

I do agree the 'volume bar' should be on bottom half and 'restore' at the top.

But I don't like the rest of your suggestion because:
1 - The Play/Pause is supposed to be centered in this skin (remember: it's a Zune!); and
2 - The right side of MicroPlayer gets too cluttered.

Regarding a seek bar, I think it wouldn't really fit...
It's better leave it as it is.

Maybe, something like this could be done:

I totally forgot about it being centered...
I was also thinking of having the volume icon the same way you did gege, but i was too lazy to ps another one. -.-

And i really need a seek bar.... or at least allow FF/RW when holding down the FF/RW buttons. I don't know how to fit the seek bar in, but i need either one. BTW its starting to get fugly now... so need to keep it simple ^^

I just wanted to say that i hate micro-microplayers (like the ones in the Casino Orange and Blue Grass), and i love normal sized microplayers (like the ones in Glided and Zune skins ;) ).
I like the zune micro player as it is now, apart from the volume bar position, obviously.
Anyway, a seek bar would fit well, to me. But where??
And let's remember that this is a 'look alike' skin so if the original skin doesn't have a seek bar and/or nohitter doesn't like the seek bar, we are not gonna have a seek bar :P

I like the idea of the Microplayer seek bar, so I came up with the following:

Image

Seek is the top bar. Please forgive the messed-up shading; I did what I could with what I had: PAINT.

Actually, it looks WAY better at normal zoom. I was working on it at max.

I prefer controls jammed together like that. I dunno why.

Nah... That thing is getting really crowded and if you really want to SEEK something in that seek bar, it needs to be waaaaay wider!

Why? Go get Paint.NET! It's a great free Image Editor!

Agreed! I'm actually using Paint.net to make my skins.

@Everyone: I'm afraid a seekbar would crowd things a little too much. Changes are coming, though!

Couldn't jou just move all the buttons to the left and closer together to make more space for the bars?

I need a nice, black microplayer to use as a substitute for the main player, which is far too big on most MM3 skins.....
