you should still beable to link the album art to the song file so it will show when playing the song in mediamonkey.

well, how about this....
How can you get the album art to display (possibly as a visualization) for each track as it comes up in Now Playing (other than that tiny bottom right window)?

change skins to one that has a huge area on the mini player for the album art.
on the main player and theme go to menu bar to view click on view album art.
you get the big window of it then you can dock it any place you want in the theme.
in order to link the album art to the song file you have to chose that option when you load the album art to the song properties. it will give you the choice to save to tag or to link to the album art and ask where and how you want to save the image.
just set that up once then it will do that all the time for every album cover.
