Cool! Thanks!

Now, another problem I see in the MokeyRok skins:

Image

I found that one needs to change this:

Code: Select all

a {
	color:#000000;
}
To a different color. I used 888888 as suggested by gege above and it works beautifully.

:D

Thanks!

I just though that I would say a BIG thank you for a great skin mate.

Keep up the awesome work. :)

A couple of things that I noticed.

The Lyrics & Comment Viewer skin seems to have a narrower field with a lot of blank wasted space left and right, causing lines to wrap down more often than they would normally do.

Also... Is there any easy way to get some of the other nodes to also have similar icons?

Nodes that don't have the Noir icons on my setups are:
  • MagicNodes
  • Play History & Stats
  • Last 100 Tracks
  • Search Results
  • HD
  • All

@ Vyper
You can'read the text!?looks ok here but i try the mods.
Hm Biography window i never use,don't know how. :-? :lol:
Can you post a image from the mod MR Skin.

@dypsis
Ah yes the icons need some more work ,it s a bit dificult,and need some more time.

I think the problem is that the script icons are controled by the scriptfiles,but iam not shure.

The Forum_Noir LV skin use the same code like the default Forum skin just use one backround color,but you are right, i look what i can do

For me, you've gone too far!

It's a great skin, and thanks loads for it. It's just that I got a nasty shock with 1.0.

The tracks now look like greyed-out/unavailable tracks do in other skins!

Does anyone else think that the text color could be lightened a little bit?

I don't mind changing it myself but I couldn't see what to do with the .msz file.

I'm trying to live with it, but I just think the font is a little bit too dark. I'm not after white - just whiter. Anyone else?

Hmm i know this from before,the reason for the Font color change is a light gray backround in the tagging menu ,this menu is essential for me, and antil now the backround is not changable. :-?
But looks nice :D I am open for any ideas!

Hi dreadM.
Love your skin. Lots of new little details and improvements in the 1.0 which are a fest for the eyes. :D

Though I must say that I feel like MM3 monkey. :(
I think the fonts are too dark. And so are some of the icons.
I find it straining for my eyes (though they're young and healthy)

what tagging menu are you talking about is it one from the mediamonkey theme, or is it one from a script?

I think I know what you mean. Like when you auto-organize files, before you changed it, you couldn't see the 'old path' column. Now you can, which is cool; I see.

But the cost is too great for me (and maybe Dreadlau). I'd rather live with the problem in the auto-organize window because the fonts in the main track window and now playing window are just too dark.

I sympathize and now I understand what you mean about the problems in MM with dark skins. I REALLY hope the devs can look at this soon.

For now, is it possible for me to lighten the font (only a bit, not back to how it was before) with a bit of find/replacing in the skin file?

This is my modified MonkeyRok Noir animated skin:

And I agree with some of the others, the text and icons are a tad dark but my eyes are old and not so healthy unlike Dreadlau's ... :lol:

Open "Scripts\LyricsViewer\themes\Forum_Noir\style.css" file, locate the following code:

Code: Select all

body {
    font:8pt Verdana, Arial, sans serif;
    font-weight:normal; margin:10px;
    color:#666666; background:#000000; }
.. and change the margin value to 4 or 5px.

MonkeyRok Font

I think that the MonkeyRok font could be a little brighter to closer match the font in the library and the Lyrics & Comment Viewer.
Except for the track now playing in MonkeyRok, I find it a little hard to read.
I realise that there needs to be a difference when you hover your mouse over a track.

But still a great skin. :)

This skin is really, really cool. I am having such a hard time picking one out of the many available.

I have read where we can make the text a little lighter if we want by changing the 3's and 6's to 5's and 8's, but what about just changing the text in the top panel with the statistics? Up where the rating is, and the last played/added stats are.

Also, in the MR skin with no buttons, what specifically controls the borders around the headers. Is it the .box?

My favorite Noir MR skin look is the one with the buttons, but I don't care for the buttons. To change it to a "no button" look, can I just delete or move the button icons?

Thank you for such an awesome skin.

To remove the buttons, open the skin.html file as text, remove these lines:

Code: Select all

					    <div id="play_controls"><img src="prev.gif" onClick="Player('prev')" /><img src="play.gif" onClick="Player('play')" /><img src="paus.gif" onClick="Player('paus')" /><img src="stop.gif" onClick="Player('stop')" /><img src="next.gif" onClick="Player('next')" /></div>

Save. That's it. :)
