Thanks for writing a very useful script.

It has a few rough edges but it worked great for me.

The only issues I had were:

Causes a sharing violation with current track on minizize maximize from miniplayer (has no consequence)

Sometimes the result window is hidden and you can't close it (appears like a freeze) but <alt>TAB recovers.

Is this only fetching .txt files? or also .lrc files? Prefer .lrc if possible.

Just static lyrics (.txt). It doesn't actually save the .txt file, it adds the lyrics to the database (and tags if possible). As far as I know MM does not have the ability to tag/show .lrc synchronized lyrics. Does Minilyrics not meet your needs for lrc files?

Thanks for the info.

Minilyrics does a great job for me, but doesn't offer a batch option, which always makes 10,000+ file databases a bit easier to update.

I guess thats true, but it downloads as you play. If you aren't playing the song, why would you want the lyrics anyway?

MAJOR UPDATE

I haven't had any time to look at this since I first wrote it until this afternoon, so I fixed a few of the issues people had, added some things, and moved it to beta.

Some stuff it does now:

Better status messages and integration
Removal of success dialog
Ability to edit lyrics before submission
Ability to reject lyrics with only one line
Search/Replace for lyrics with only one line
Cleanup Whitespace
Pause/Resume
Flip Surname, Name (thanks, datta)
Try Original Artist, Original Lyricist, Composer, Conductor, Involved People, Lyricist, Cousin Larry
Try with artist name of "Various Artists"
Black list

Not sure why I can't find this in the scripts area. I see it in the options area so I know it's installed. Any ideas?

That's strange. I have absolutely no idea.

Do you see an entry for it in your scripts.ini file (under MM\Scripts\ in your install)? You should have something like this at the end of the file:

Do you have an entry for Lyricator in you Extensions section? You may try uninstall/reinstall.

I just got the following error:

I was trying to tag the currently playing album. If it helps at all, the album was Rhythm and Stealth by Leftfield. I have been able to use the new version successfully on other albums though so I'm not sure what the problem with this one is.
