Swicthing views in Now Playing sorts list [NOTREP]

When switching the view from Details to Album Art with Details in the Now Playing node it sorts the Now Playing list on Track#. I assume this is a bug.

I can't confirm, are you using 1208?

I have had in the past mysterious sorting in now playing that I had never been able to catch why. Perhaps its intermittent.

Still see this, and while in Album Art with Details view I can't undo the list sort. It does show up as an action performed, but only when returning to the Details view can I unsort the Now Playling list.

Checking again on 1218 I still have the same issue, I'm also unable to return to previous start by using undo as long as the Album Art view is enabled.

To reproduce:
- In any other node
- Switch from Details to Album Art View
- Go to Now Playing node
- Tracks get sorted automatically.

Tested this with 1224 and I still see that going to the Now Playing node while Album Art with Details or Album Art view is enabled sort the tracks already in the Now Playing. Undoing the sort is also impossible while the Now Playing node is selected (in other nodes it's possible to undo the sort via the Now Playing window).

Additionally when switching to the Now Playing node while the Album Art view is active, the Now Playing node shows the tracks as Album Art with Details and resets the view to that so that all other nodes now also use the Album Art with Details view.

Additionally MediaMonkey hangs for me when I start it in the Location node with Album Art view selected and then switch to the Now Playing node. MediaMonkey becomes unresponsive and has to be exited (no bug report request on this).

I don't know if this behavior is by design or a bug but it renders a random playlist (previously generated) useless unless one remembers to switch to the detail view before going back to the Now Playing node. It is highly annoying at any rate.

The ideal solution would be for MM to remember the view settings for a node when leaving then returning back to that view when switching back to the node. An alternative would be the ability to 'lock' Now Playing so that the sort order is not changed. The lock setting could be part of the autoplaylist settings for a particular playlist.

Just tried the beta for the first time and I'm hugely upset that changing between Now Playing and the folder tree isn't saving the layout and even worse screwing up the sort order for Now Playing. Is there some option I missed that the upgrade has flipped?

I have all of those installed except for cue reader and msn messenger plugins, I doubt either of those are affecting the Now Playing sort order though. Strange that I can't reproduce it.

I assume it's a very rare thing as otherwise this forum would be flooded by users reporting this. This makes the Album Art views completely unusable for me. I haven't figured out what could be the cause though as it's such a rare thing.
