7on Skin

First released: 19-09-2009

Last update: 15-11-2009

Current version: 1.0.0.0

Greetings

The idea for this skin comes from a project gege and me start for a while but we never finish it,
I start again to work on it when i download windows 7,the skin based on the ion skin, (special the player) and the look from Windows 7's wmp12 (build 7100).
The skin use a modified Delletronic iconset and got a new micro / mini player and info popup's.
the skin works also fine on netbooks.

simple with high contrast that is not blinding. good job.

i miss the bright colors and all the stuff going on in skins though so not my favorite but a nice well done skin.
i just feel like adding a nice frozen penguin in it or maybe a polar bear or maybe a frozen T-Rex some thing to get a wow look at that from the kids. maybe a frozen monkey. ? but thats just me, the skin is good as is. :)

Nice clean skin, ready for 7.
Good job DreadM, as usual.

But why a black mini player instead of light blue like the main player?

So the skin king has made yet another beauty. Very nice. I like frozen yoghurt. Never had frozen monkey. Wasn't it Indiana Jones that had chilled monkey brain? Closes I can think of.

Very nice skin - well done.
I am a huge fan of nohitter's vitreous blue skin and this one has many of the aspects of that, that I like.

Thanks

Nice work!
It fits very well in the Windows 7 environment.

The only thing that bothers me is the main frame.
As you can see in the picture below, Windows 7 has thicker borders, the Segoe UI font and different buttons.

Image

Are you planning to repaint the borders?
If not I am hereby requesting permission to do so myself :)

Greetings

Well online again,Thanks for your kind words

@nynaevelan:
MR and LV skins are finish ,just must zip them and upload

@Eyal:
Thanks,wmp12 got also an dark miniplayer ,so i think it was a good idea,
but i work on a slim version who fit's better with the rest of skin.
maybe like this :

@paulmt:
can you post your image here , maybe other user's got also interest

@Gizzmo:
To fit with windows 7 was my Intention,not to copy wmp12.
The use of Segoe UI font is proplematic ,don't works on xp systems.
I think we don't want to see borders ,just our music,
but what borders you mean?

I've got the frame covered.
Now the Monkey looks like a native Win 7 application... sort of ;o)

http://i33.tinypic.com/25f0fmc.jpg

The only thing that's left to do to make it perfect is to switch the alternating background from the Playlist- to the Library-Section.

@paulmt
Which object do I have to edit in ThemeEditor 7.00 to get your background in the skin?
I've searched forever, but I cant find the part that is responsible for the Playlists :(

Please help :)

You know the Monkey Flow script is starting to look really good but I hate those COM errors, it's too bad this functionality is not native to MM. :-?
