Greetings

Here is my new skin / project ,i try to simplify the player layout and the theme ,
follow strictly the round corner design and try to give everything a bit more space ( to look more clear ) and use just 4 or 5 colors !

The Chrome Tab is just a background for the Monkey text ,and beside it's the RollUp/Switch button.
I use also Dreadlaus wonderful Pulse IconSet that match's perfect this skin .

Looks like another nice skin from you, Dread. There are aspects of this that are quite nice. I love what you did with the faux tab for instance. Goes to give an idea of what MM4 could look like if the Devs were to give some more options in regards to tabs (ie, allow them above the menu like some have requested). It is simple, which you were aiming for... just a touch too simple for my taste. The player in particular is a little too "flat" in my opinion, but that may be just because I'm used to the more "3D buttons" if you will. All in all, a nice simple, yet elegant, skin from you.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot the little suggestion/inquiry I had. Regarding the headers in the main panel, they look a little strange to me. Maybe you could try to do them similar to that of the scroll bars? In that you have the light gray background behind them, with the headers in the white "bubbles" like they are now. Then, you could still possibly have the darker gray border around the currently sorted header (though not a fan of it myself)? Just an idea.

It's a very nice skin and I do hope this can ported to MM4 in regards to the faux tab. Keep the skinning requests coming to allow this to happen.

nice and simple skin! i esspecially like the tab on the top. i like the pulse one more though
i didn't know that you can create a new splash screen for the monkey. it's quite nice to have a lighter one when you prefer lighter skins.

one suggestion maybe: i kind of dislike the look of the columns. maybe the design of the pulse skin would fit there (those just look beautiful). that's the only thing i have to say

Thanks ,glad you like it ,
This is somehow a concept skin ,where i try to use strictly 2pix borders ,2 pix empty space between objects ( if possible! ) and 3-4 pix rounded corners ,
and reduce the number of colors !
so i don't want to change the form of headers / columns , but i can look for the header colors again.

and yes indeed this skin is inspired by some post's about tab and aero handling on MM4,
and i want to show how the monkey can look like

actual i try to convert this skin to MM4 ,but it looks horrible,
looks like this at the moment:


There are 2 main problems !
1: Aero frame around the theme , it destroys the hole layout

2: Handling of tab layout , no option to move or skin the close button!

I think to create a modern Tab layout we need a advanced Tab object ,
with a Main, Left and Right side Tab objects!

Another very well laid out and attractive skin ....... too bright for my eyes so I will continue using Vision

also i switch the ContinousButton to the AutoDJButton.

Yes ,but at the moment i have no right idea for a matching theme,

Version 1,1,0,0 is now available (see first post )

changes:
darker frame around Playbuttons, Infodisplay, theme, floatPlayer
also darker volume and seekbar sliders
switch Continuous to Auto Dj button
new mute button and Tree Collapse icon
add new NoAlbumArt ( it's part of a hole set i made for MM4)

I hope you like the changes ( i think it looks more clear withe a bit more contrast )
