[request] MM4 - UPNP Search Library support
Thank you for DLNA/UPnP support in new MM4. It's cool feature to control MM4 from other devices especially from small devices like mobile phones.
I am using BubbleUPnP player (Android) which can search in DLNA/UPnP server library but it looks like MM4 don't support it. Could it be possible to add this to your wish list?

According to the list at the wiki, it's supported:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... NA_Devices
Are you able to confirm that sharing is working with any other app/application?

Re: [request] MM4 - UPNP Search Library support
anybody can tell how configure BubbleUPnP for work with MM?
In your wiki writen that i need use this adress http://<Network IP address>:<Port#>/DeviceDescription.xml
But BubbleUPnP can only use this http://<Network IP address>:<Port#> if i write DeviceDescription.xml this give error that address incorrect. If i use http://<Network IP address>:<Port#> BubbleUPnP give error The remote server could be joined but returned HTTP error code 404

Those instructions only refer to accessing MM outside of your own network. If you are browsing within the same network, it should just appear in the uPnP servers list.UksusoFF wrote:anybody can tell how configure BubbleUPnP for work with MM?

Well in that case you are accessing it outside of the home network, so you need to follow those instructions.UksusoFF wrote:How I can get my network via 3g device?
Hopefully you realize you don't actually use
Code: Select all

I have all of this, try you get it http://<Network IP address>/DeviceDescription.xmlnohitter151 wrote:Well in that case you are accessing it outside of the home network, so you need to follow those instructions.UksusoFF wrote:How I can get my network via 3g device?
Hopefully you realize you don't actually useYou need to substitute your actual IP address and port number into the URL. If you have a wireless router, you will also need to use port forwarding to allow outside connections to your network.Code: Select all
http://<Network IP address>:<Port#>

I'm browsing your server right now on my iPhone. Seems to work fine! You could verify by looking in the Mediasharing options under the "Upnp/dlna server" tab. I'm accessing it with "8 player lite" app on iPhone.UksusoFF wrote: I have all of this, try you get it http://***************:43554/DeviceDescription.xml

Re: [request] MM4 - UPNP Search Library support
Hi. any update on this? Using BubbleUPnP, if I add the "/DeviceDescription.xml" to the Server Address, the app automatically says the server address is invalid, and won't connect.

It must be a problem with your app, or maybe you did not allow port forwarding. I've tested this and it works fine.mjlenox wrote:Hi. any update on this? Thanks for the reply. I was afraid you'd say that. Anyone know of an Android app that will allow this?
