Change Date View (Masking)

Hey all, Happy New years

How can I change the date view of my Library?

Currently I add personal Tags to my music.. Such as date released and date I ripped my Physical CD's

And this include Day, Month and Year.

I just want to be able to view the Year the album had been release

There's no way to "mask" a date in MM. It will show whatever is in the field. So, if you only want to view the release year, you'll need to edit your tags to remove the month and day, leaving only the year.

If you are looking for a batch way to do this you could use the RegExp find and replace addon.
