"Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
As a newbie to streaming over my home network, have hit a wall with a new streamer ( Pioneer N-50A ) and am baffled...so would appreciate any help as prob missing something obvious. Can stream to PS3 from Windows 7 ( 64bit ) PC using mediamonkey server ( with artwork showing correctly ).
When first plugged in - streamer found the MM server quickly & played 5 tracks ( with artwork as FLACs ) without prob, without changing any settings - it has since struggled to find MM server and when MM server is found with my entire file structure and Library ( Album Artist\First Letter\Artist\Album\Track ) selecting track meets with a delay followed by "track not found".
noticed that when I enabled media streaming for windows media player, that server showed and played all music without issue, albeit as "Unknown Artist" and no album art as I don't manage my music using wmp?
MM server shows N-50A under tools/options/Player/UPnP/DLNA Renderer, but under a different IP address ( same MAC ) in Options for Media Sharing ( MM Server ) in the UPnP/DLNA tab as name WinampMPEG/2.8 and status as "Accepted" under "Server" tab.
played with settings in my router but didn't fix things as device didn't need to be "authorised" in the router's firewall........any help would be appreciated or if there is a thread where this has been covered already? could it be file sharing options? No PC settings were touch when it initially worked straight out of the box? Have restarted MM server with no change
thanks in advance....

Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
The Best way would be to open Support Ticket and Supply us with MMW log as described here

Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
Hi Peke
Thanks for replying, before I install MM debug version - I noticed that my Streamer Pioneer N-50A is not a tested device, and having recently installed Minimserver, playback is fine and without delay ( + with artwork ) so could it just be that MediaMonkey Server is not compatible with my streamer or should I still go ahead and create debug logs?
My System - PC - Windows 7 Ultimate (64 Bit) Service Pack 1
My Router Technicolor TG582N
My Media Player - Pioneer N50A with updated firmware 034.035.1010.100
many thanks

Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
Yes, you should. All DLNA capable devices should work, however every manufacturer has a slightly different implementation so it causes issues sometimes requiring a debug log.

Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
will do but at the moment having more problems as getting "track not found" for internet radio also so either problem with streamer or router or both as not all media servers are showing on the network, but will run debug once my streamer sees the media servers again
Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
That is fixed in latest Beta 4.1.9.1756

Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
Resolved now as streamer was faulty, new one works fine with mediamonkey, some small issues but I will search the forum first as could be the pioneer control app, many thanks!
Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
Issues still with songs jumping to next song about 20secs from the end and progress/play bar not showing most of the time + song name not changing/refreshing when next song on album played, seems specific to MM as other media servers work fine, should I run MM debug or have these issues been fixed for the next Beta release?
Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
Did you try the latest beta? If it still fails a debug will be needed: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... f=20&t=341

Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
thanks for the prompt, located and installed the latest beta Beta 4.1.9.1756 which sorted out the tracks jumping onto the next song before it ended and the track name refresh, only glitch now seems to be songs randomly repeating themselves and not moving onto the next track, will keep a lookout for more recent Betas and consider running debug soon
Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
Apologies, ignore previous as all issues fixed except below as shortcut was pointing to a previous build, Beta 4.1.9.1756 fixes all except below:
pressing pause and then play again restarts the track rather than from last position played

Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
Having used since, all previous issues running MM server - tracks jumping to next before ending, track name not refreshing, track constantly repeating, play/progress bar not showing etc have all returned, will log a ticket after running debug
Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
Helpdesk ticket logged, will try various new betas
Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
Track jumping to next track now fixed - thanks Pavle, however after playing another album, after 6 tracks in the song continued to repeat itself on a loop but the track name changed each time, should i log this in a new post / ticket?
Many thanks for all your help so far...

Re: "Track not found" Pioneer N-50A Streamer
Update - Although all issues couldn't be fully resolved - it was confirmed to me what the correct settings should be for playback from a renderer ( Pioneer N-50A media player ) controlling the mediamonkey server which hopefully will be on the forum one day and will link to it when available for future reference. The turnaround time on the ticket updates was quick and helpful and had I not bought a NAS to resolve all my issues - then I am confident that the support team would have eventually resolved all the problems. I look forward to the future when this media player has been fully tested with the mediamonkey server.
Many thanks for all your help
