MM doesn't acknowledge MicroSD card immediately

Post by Dan33185 »

This has been a problem for a while, but it's just really gotten annoying lately. If MM is already open and I insert a Micro SD card, MM refuses to show it in the drop down menu. If I close MM and open it again, the Micro SD card shows up just fine. Not sure if this is expected behavior or not, just seems very odd.

Which version of MediaMonkey and does Windows have a delay in recognizing it in Explorer?

MM 4.1.12.1787. It shows up in explorer within seconds of inserting the card, I could have MM open for hours and it won't see it. Once I close and re-open MM though, it sees it fine.

Capture it in a debug log (step 4b) and send it to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... f=12&t=341

I sent a debug log to support, just wanted to make sure it was received.

Well, now it won't recognize my MicroSD card at all, no matter how many times I unplug it, restart MM, etc. Using most recent beta.

Did you open a support ticket and attach a log? If so you should've heard back.

Please update to 4.1.13 as there is number of fixes regarding SD card detection. Also check profiles for disabled ones.

I did at the time of the original post, not for the most recent one. I went through and deleted all profiles that I could and reinstalled and that worked. I'm still having the problem of having to close MMW and reopen it to acknowledge that it's there though.

Ok, now I'm back to it not being recognized at all. I'm going to attach the debug log here as well as send it to help desk to avoid it getting overlooked

Log File do not show any abnormality.

Can you make screenshot of MMW and of Windows Explorer where it is clearly seen that Card is not recognized in MMW and is seen in Explorer.
