I am using MM 4.1.23.1881 on a Windows 7 machine. I am trying to sync a MP4 movie file to an older Kindle Fire device. I keep getting an error message that MP4 is not supported on the device (same thing with MVK, MPG and M4V files).
I think this is a problem with MM profiles because I can transfer the MP4 file directly to the Kindle with Windows File Explorer and it plays!
I tried to modify the profile myself in the device section of MM but that didn't seem to work.
Some help please!?
Profile Problem for Amazon Kindle Fire?

Re: Profile Problem for Amazon Kindle Fire?
You need to add MP4 to the Supported Formats in the Device Profile conversion settings.

Re: Profile Problem for Amazon Kindle Fire?
I did. And I set all the options. It did not work - unless I did something incorrect. I can't figure it out.

You may be missing an Audio, Video or bitrate setting in the Support Formats settings.

Re: Profile Problem for Amazon Kindle Fire?
OK, I'll try to fight my way through all the options but I wonder why such a popular device like the Kindle Fire wouldn't already come up in MM with the proper profile?
