Playlist Says - No Files In This Folder

mma, v 1.3.3.0887. (Android 9 on Nokia 3.2 plus) Just installed. I don't want to sync
I manually upload my music, then create a playlist, populate with what I want

Problem:
Start MMa
> Playlist
> Create Playlist
> Go to Playlist
> Choose library folders
> Samsung SD Card
> +
> Music
> RIDE
= No files in this folder

However, there are 103 files there if you browse there via mma Folder
mma will play the files from there

Also, suggestion for future releases

When you browse to music files via mma Folders
There should be a quick way to add the entire DIR, or songs to a Playlist

Did you scan the files into MMA (Choose Library Folders in Options)? Folders shows what's on device including files not in the MMA Library. Playlists require files to be in the MMA Library.

Ahh, just not very intuitive, or I probably just needed to read FAQ

Process
> Folders
> Hold DIR of choice until checked
> use ADD to dB icon

MM Win user for probably 20+ years
I guess I should just break down and work with the sync

Hmmm, seems kinda buggy.

** But, doesn't show up in "Library"

Go to
> Options
> Choose Library Folders
> The "Music" Folder added is there, but still not in Library

I tried uninstalling/installing, etc., seems to be some kind of cache issue
I've deleted that listing from > Options > Choose Library folder
And tried adding again, still doesn't seem to want to add

Nevermind, I somehow accidentally deleted the *.mp3s in that DIR
Everything works, just had to get used to the app

Just use the MM for Win Server & set up a sync to your Android
That does it all, automatically, painlessly
