Hi there,
I use a nextcloud as local music server, I already managed to get the MediaMonkey Windows Version working with the files on this network drive but having difficulties getting it running on my android.
The reason is I can't select the directory that is linked to the nextcloud, just internal- and SD-space. There seems to be a link that easily could get acceess to the netdrive, below the /storage/ directory, unfortunately MediaMonkey hides these system paths when trying to add a source with "Settings/Choose library folders".
Is this a Pro Version feature or is it meant to be handled differently?
Thanks in advance!
Frank

MMA can only access storage in the device. If you want to access files off the device you need to use UPnP and that would only work if the files are on a DLNA Server.

Thanks for the quick reply. I always thought Linux/Android doesn't care if sth is a file, directory, device or the like, in that light I just don't get such an artifical limitation. I mean it's already perfectly working on the PC Version (tested under Windows).
Is there at least a workaround for such a streaming feature?

DLNA works via UPnP in MMA.
