Playing videos in an external player
Playing videos in an external player
I've recently added my videos to Media Monkey, but now I need a way to play them. I have the "Open tracks in another application" script but was wondering if there was a way to make the default double click open the video in the external player? Would a script be able to accomplish this and if so could someone give me a pointer on how to start it. Not much of a programmer

Doesn't look like anyone has posted results of a test with MM3, but I don't see why any of them shouldn't work. Try one (or all!) of them out, post in the script thread if its MM3 compatible. (The second one listed looks the most promising..)

Re: Playing videos in an external player
Edit: I already found the "Open videos in default player".
Although I would have preferred the option to choose.
In MM4 I added 2 editions of the script for 2 different players.
Now I'm stuck with the default,
which windows seems to automatically switch back to their horrible video player.
After every time I change it...
Can the Script "Open tracks in another application" still be used in mediamonkey 5???
And how?
Where to place the script now?
Or how to adjust it?
Thanks...

Re: Playing videos in an external player
If an application gets default then check its settings as it may steal this on start.
