Instruction manual available for a new user?
I am new to MM and not a computer wizard, so it is taking me some time to figure out how to use the program. For example, today when I ripped a CD that was, apparently, an independent production, and MM could find no info. on the web about it, MM listed everything about the CD by track number and listed everyting else as Unknown. Because I would like to upload this album to my mp3 player, I need to alter the Title/Artist/Album headers as well as the track info., etc., on the playlist menu. The computerized help content told me that I can add this info manually, but it did not tell me how. I am at a loss as to what to do, and I wish there were a manual that I could refer to for the answer to this and other similar questions. Can anyone help me?

If you go to the HELP menu in MediaMonkey and select "Help Content", it will bring you to the web page below:thomasdanieldwyer wrote:I am new to MM and not a computer wizard, so it is taking me some time to figure out how to use the program. There is also a MediaMonkey Help Wiki page:

To answer you question, if you're in the main track listing view, you just need to click on the text displayed and edit it. So as you mentioned it listed the song by track number. Just click in that track number field and type in the track title. Notice that track number is listed under the "Title" column. So Take note of the corresponding column names in this view, to enter in other song information. You should see "Title", "Album", "Artist".
Re: Instruction manual available for a new user?
Select the CD drive in the Media Tree (Explorer Tree on left side of program with items like Now Playing, Music, Playlists, My Computer, etc.) From there you can edit all the files on the CD with the correct information prior to starting the rip.

Pretty sure you meant to say "it will TAKE you to the web page"!Rednroll wrote:
