Some album art doesn't show up

Post by hopelessnerd-exe »

I have a collection of music that I keep in a single folder and manage from my Linux machine with Clementine and sync to my phone with Syncthing. All of the album art appears properly in Clementine, but some of it doesn't appear in the MediaMonkey app.

Is there anything I can try to fix this? I've already looked extensively into running MediaMonkey through Wine or a VM and determined those aren't feasible options, so any solutions that allow me to keep using Clementine would be best.

Hi,
Please Open support Ticket and supply DL links (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox,...) to few files that we can analyze and see why MM do not see any Album art in them.

Hi,
Thx, for ticket and sample files but unfortunately those files do not contain AA only one of them do and it is synced to Phone without any issues.

I explained your options in Ticket, but to keep others in loop. You need either manually save cached searched AA in MM (Save icon) or set in MM options under Metadata lookup that MM automatically save it in files after search.

Then after save correct Album art will be also shown on android.

Thanks for letting me know! I've switched to Linux (Pop_OS) recently, and I'm taking a look at the metadata now with Picard, and that matches what you're saying. Probably should've known to do that without being told, but oh well. I hope someday we can get native Linux support!
