Fixed Status Line, incl. Options

Post by UweBo »

I would like to have a fixed status line (option perhaps to always show, never show, show status changes) plus some options as to what shall be shown there by standard.
Standard could be some info (technical and/or artistry) about the file that is played.
Addition could be as it is now for example to show a conversion.
But the main is it should be fixed instead of variable show then not.

Hi,

I think that the Preview window (the window in the lower-right corner) might meet your requirements. If you tap ⋮ > Layout > Advanced, you can they use the [gear] button to choose which attributes to display.

Is that what you're looking for?

Hello

i have that lower right window configured already.
I mention this only because when the status bar is active it appears, then hides, forth and back and so on.
I would like to have a fixed status bar with permanent & perhaps user selectable information like in other programs i use for example corel draw, outlook.
Or the same information based on user configuration as is shown in the lower right window but permanent visible.

Ahh... so you want the status bar which shows e.g. xx files, yy MB, hh:mm:ss to appear always, rather than in association with different node views?

Oh yes, a fixed status line at the very bottom with variable contextual information and permanently the same/similar information as is shown in the lower right window just in case the panel is hidden.
