[REQ] Playlist last played track [#21209]

I see there is an issue currently for a way to know how many times a playlist has been played.

I wonder if it would also be possible to have a way to know which was the last track played within a playlist, so I can resume where I left off? This would of course only work if I always play the playlist in its original order.

"Plan B" Maybe better would be some way to save a particular now playing list as a named QUEUE, which could be stored and resumed at will? Allowing for say 10 such lists to be stored would be wonderful

You currently have Last Played which is the last time a file was played. Of course if you played files on a specific Playlist via another method it would also have Last Played.

I doubt this feature request will make it, as it gets complicated really quickly as you need to file per Playlist playback tracking. Furthermore how to deal if you load partial Playlist or modify Playing and not Playlist.

We've though before about having multiple 'Playing' lists. But I can't give this the attention it deserves atm as we're too focused on getting the release out the door. We'll start thinking about new feature requests in greater detail post-release.
