Selection issue?!

Post by Biggus_Dickus »

Is it possible that the selection in the synchronization overview is not working correctly? For example, when I deselect all playlists using the minus sign, the lower levels remain checked, and I have to uncheck them all manually. When I select a playlist, the lower levels are not automatically selected. This is quite annoying when you want to synchronize or remove many playlists from the device. Or is this intentional?

Hi,
If you expand Playlist node and then select parent node then all subnodes are auto selected.

In older versions of MM subnodes are auto selected even node was collapsed, but was changed as users complained that it synced non needed tracks and playlists.

My structure looks like this, for example: ‘iPhone/Artists/Led Zeppelin’ and then one level below, Led Zeppelin (Unrated) and Led Zeppelin (Best of). If I now deselect Artists, the checkmark next to Led Zeppelin disappears. However, the playlists at the level below remain active.

Hi,
They are selected separately. I personally Leave all unckecked except some playlists I want to sync.

NOTE: Content of Playlists are synced, so that there is no need to select every artist/album/... again.

Hey biggus,

Can you clarify, when you write:
‘iPhone/Artists/Led Zeppelin’ and then one level below, Led Zeppelin (Unrated) and Led Zeppelin (Best of).
Are those all Playlists (i.e. are you creating playlists for artist names)?
