I reinstalled MediaMonkey 5 on my new computer. I also restored all my music files to the new computer in the same location as the old one I'm retiring. I copied the MM5.DB and persistent.json files into the proper folder and when I open MediaMonkey on the new computer, I see all of my files and playlists that I had previously set up on my old computer. However, when I try to play any of the music files, I get a "file inaccessible" error because the file path starts with [OS] instead of the drive letter.
[OS]\Users\Public\Music\Various Artists\60's Various\Maurice Williams - Stay.mp3
I confirmed by editing one of the entries in the MediaMonkey properties window that changing the path to start with C: takes care of the problem.
How do I get [OS] to resolve to C: or how do I update the path of all my files in MediaMonkey to start with C:?
