Re: New Install MMW5 - Error Message - Cannot Decode mp3
Can you play the same files using Folders in the Media Tree instead?
Can you describe how the files are stored and if Path is correct in MediaMonkey when it fails?

If you haven't yet, can you please update to build 2410: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 86639&sd=d
Let us know if it still fails.

Re: New Install MMW5 - Error Message - Cannot Decode mp3
Hi,
I have just installed MMW5, as a new user, so am also new here...
So I am running version 5.0.5.2695
I have all of my MP3 music saved locally on my laptop and am trying to play it via my Denon DRA-800H
MMW5 seems to find my Denon system without issue, and when I select any of my 20 odd thousand tracks at random I see a buffering message, then I get the error
Playback failed: Denon DRA-800H (DLNA/UPnP) cannot decode
D:\Users\Solut\Music\David Gray\1998 - White Ladder\David Gray - White Ladder -10 - Say Hello Wave Goodbye.mp3.
For instance...
In order to replicate this error I have clicked play again and I can hear my DRA-850 start up and connect, so everything appears to work up to the point of the error

Thanks Lowlander,
I don't know if it was the latest version or the setting up of the firewall, which this version highlighted, which did the trick, but it works now...
