\Music\<Album Artist>\<Album>\<Track#:2> $Left(<Artist>,20) - <Title>
In my MM library, I have my files located at:
Music\<Artist>\<Album>\<Title>
So when it was syncing to my device, it was adding a track number (<Track#:2> $Left(<Artist>,20) to the beginning of every file (in my case 00, because I don't use track numbers), so when the .M3U playlist was looking for the source file, it was nowhere to be found. So, when syncing, just make sure the file location is set up exactly the same as it is on your computer.
I am trying to sync from PC > Sd Card (for an Android phone), and I am just completely lost on how to sync playlists. I have synced just my playlists for now to narrow down how to do it correctly, and every which way I am trying seems to come up empty. The files from the playlist transfer fine, but that actual .M3U file is not showing up in my media player. I have tried "right click> send to> .M3U", I have tried taking the .M3U files created using the Backup script, I have tried just doing Auto-Sync through MM, and nothing seems to work. I've been reading a ton about how to get them to work, and it sounds like a lot of the time the error is the lines in the .M3U file aren't pointing to the right folder/file, but I have no idea how to fix mine. Here is how I have files set up on my PC:
Music Folder>Artist Folder>Album Folder>Title.mp3
So on my SD card it would be:
SD Card> Music Folder>Artist Folder>Album Folder>Title.mp3
And for Playlists it would be:
SD Card>Playlists folder
A sample of a line from my .M3U file:
..\Music\Bob Dylan\Blonde on Blonde\4th Time Around.mp3
I have also tried editing it to read:
\SD card\Music\Bob Dylan\Blonde on Blonde\4th Time Around.mp3
Here are my device settings:

I have struggled with trying to sync playlists for a long time, but usually by accident I can get it to sync properly after a few attempts. I've been at this for like 4 days with no luck, so I would like to figure out a 100% mistake proof way of doing it. I use MM4 as my daily music player as there are some functions missing in MM5 that I like, but I have also attempted syncing in MM5 using the same methods, as well as Wi-Fi sync, but that didn't resolve my issue either.
