[REQ] Scrolling lyrics [#16494]

Post by tom_reh »

Love the new stuff in Version 5.

Only thing I have lost is scrolling lyrics ( use to use MiniLyrics add-on).
Would be great if they were in a future release.

Also ability to show lyrics (and scrolling lyrics) when casting to an external player.

No updates yet unfortunately, but I've tracked the request as: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18460

I uploaded many addons to MM's addon page, but not all of those were created by me. "By drakinite, Submitted by drakinite" means I made it on my own time. "By Ventis Media, Inc., Submitted by drakinite" means it may have been made by me or another MediaMonkey developer, so instead of crediting/thanking me, please thank the team. You can still ask me for support on any of our addons.

A different solution is being implemented into the next version of MediaMonkey: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=16494

I read through and it kept mentioning Metadata lookup but the things the discussion talked about simply aren't there in mine. There is no mention at all of syncing in metadata lookup in my program which was only downloaded a few days ago. So when they are saying this is how it's going to be done, they mean the next version or next revision? I don't know how often revisions come out?

Next version, so a final release is still a while out.

When is next version? Can you give me an 'about' date? I've used MM for many years. I gave it a break for a long time as confusion over control messed my recordings up and years later its still not put right yet. I got the latest version emailed to me recently and it just seems much easier to use. I'm currently testing it on the backup of a handful of albums.
