I'm not getting as many comments for this skin as i'd like to. I want to improve it and I don't know how to if nobody says anything. :P

My explanation: your skin looks good, but I'm against iPod madness for the masses. So I'll never use your skin, no matter how good it may ever look. It's a pure personal reason.
Extensions: ExternalTools, ExtractFields, SongPreviewer, LinkedTracks, CleanImport, and some other scripts (Need Help with Addons > List of All Scripts).

blake your a kid and it just about k....lls you not to get feedback. but believe me people will use your skins.

i never thought anyone would use mine i had them posted on
winamp for about six months then all of a sudden the downloads started to show up soon my junglemonkey skin was at 50,000 downloads. that is a lot for a classic style skin.
they told me nobody would download my trucking skin from winamps site. but it is the only one still on there and still getting downloads. it is a winamp only version in the classic style for winamp. so you see people will get your skins.

why ? simple because they like what you like and you made a good skin for them to get. so they will get it.

but mostly they will get it when mm 3 is released and they are all getting the new version of the player. as of now only hardy souls are getting the alpha versions.

just go on and keep making great skins. i don't have an ipod
and i am very anit ipod because everyone else is so pro ipod.

but I like your skin because it is a great design for media monkey it is an ipod skin but not a look alike of another skin but a new style of skin.

i'll bet you can make a flying saucer skin looking like one of them old movie ufo's and you would get hundreds to download it or maybe even thousands to download it. make one of robby the robot and you will have adoring fans downloading robby.

make one of skippy the kangaroo and watch guys as old as your dad start downloading that one.

make one of the croc hunter and they will start download that.

you just have to get what the fans like. if you like it some one else will also like it.

you don't like my truckng monkey one because don't like the buttons instructions, but i got emails from truck drivers that love the skin because they know almost in an instant what to do with it they are use to that shape of the cb radio.

you can now do reconverts of any old winamp classic skin
as long as you ask or try to ask their creators for permission

i would do it to the most downloaded winamp classic skins.

but i am leaving that up to you since you said you were willing to do it. i only did that one for my sister and to help show how to make one with out the templete peke made.

but man or make that young man, dont worry about not many comments if you get one that is a bad comment sooner or later some one will post a good comment.

just keep on making skins as best you can and keep getting better all the time. people will get them. do that with anything you do in life just try your best and keep at it and get better by learning from your mistakes and you will make a good life for your self.

after all the above if you still want more comments.

great,
fantastic,
really one of the best skins for mm3.
i like the color choices they match well.
keep up the great work but make the fonts a little bigger in the list views your grandma will thank you.

and if you want to make any skin for the croc hunter go to my main download site and get the few icons i made of them to use for some images if you want too.

enjoy making skins i enjoy seeing and using them.

Thanks for all of that RC. That was really a lot to write, so thanks.

I think, RC, you inspire a lot of people to do things, like me for example and I really appreciate the things you said (and have said in the past).

So anyway, thanks for your comments.
:D

Btw: I have already had a lot of d/loads (47 which is sort of lame compared to Monkey11 (486)Lol) but what I really want is the feedback so I know what to improve.

your welcome blake. glad to have made you a little happier,
thanks for telling me that. its nice not to get jumped on for things.

but i think if every one would just make 8 skins for media monkey 3 and post them then if needed adjust them upon the release of mm 3. when rusty jiri, peke, or petrc gets to making the new site and makes the new skin's download page.

there will be tons of skins ready for the new users that will show up when mm 3 is released, they are waiting in the wings,
for the new version with all the new skins and features and bug fixes.

then they will swing in from the trees to join the rest of this monkey troop.

just look at the new updates coming out for the other players
they are all trying to catch up with the monkey.
it looks like just the mention of monkey sends them in to crazied frenzie.

:P

Hi Blake:

Your skin looks nice on the Preview window, but I can't seem to load it.

I downloaded it into my MM Skins folder and restarted the program, but to no luck.

Any idea why?

This skin will only work in MM 3.0.

You can download it from the beta testing forum.
