I'm willing to pay a bounty for someone to be able to bring MonkeyRok to life for MediaMonkey 5.
I briefly explained a small portion of the functionality of MonkeyRok a while ago in this thread here.

The fact is, I still haven't left MediaMonkey 4, although I've been testing MediaMonkey 5 for years. The main reason is because I just miss MonkeyRok so much that I find myself going back to MediaMonkey 4.

I know that MonkeyRok greatly enhances the functionality and user experience of MediaMonkey, which means that there is probably some work involved in making it happen. The functionlity is already there. It just needs to be brought to the surface.

Please PM me if you are up for the challenge.

One word: Minimalist.

I can deal with all the other hardships of migrating from MM4 with a meticulously customized configuration and modified library.

The one Massive setback for me is preforming the migration with a very bulky interface, text, and layout restrictions.

Hmmm, interesting note. Personally I find MM5 much easier to make minimalist. You can remove both left and right with a click, Track browser have many views that suits your needs (like Grid Image size can be set to 50%). Only Thing I See in your image that is missing are player controls, but I guess that can be scripted along with small timer. Also you can easily make skin that have half sized fonts, ....

looking for advanced duplicate fix and find.

i use audials and it can download 2 or 3...6 versions of the same song.
in MM4 i can use this addin to help me delete the worst, lowest quality, etc version

This may have been mentioned on the forum before, but I just wanted to say that it would be great to have a version of Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix for MM5. This is the MM4 version:

This is the key functionality: "The script also makes it very easy to replace old low bitrate files with new rips in higher bitrates since it lets you Copy/Paste metadata (Tags, Album Art, PlayStat) from the old tracks to the new tracks."

If I knew how to do it, I'd write the program myself! But I'd gladly buy anyone a beer who did it.

A rewrite of the LinkedTracks add-on is sorely needed for MM5.

I also know that many classical music listeners would really love to see this working in MM5.

In MM4 there was an extension called Played Date and Counter that would set the Last Played Date a programmable time after a song started playing (rather than the default behavior of setting it after the song plays 100%).

Is there an equivalent for MM5?

hello everyone, I haven't switched to mm5 yet due to the fact that I don't want to "abandon" 2 fundamental scripts for me... is there any hope of having something similar on mm5?

A new/updated version of Bex's Add/Remove PlayStat would be fantastic as - at the moment - MM5 is a bit of a closed system. If I want to play an actual CD or use another play (I have a Fiio) then there's no way of manually changing the last played date.

Unfortunately for Last.FM DJ there is no replacement yet, hopefully someone would port existing mm4 plugin

Duplicating @bonjovi request. I'm looking for a MM5 utility where I can adjust the play counter. There was one in MM4 .. awol in MM5. IMHO, MM5 is somewhat light on addons compared to MM4.

Any help here would be appreciated.

You can natively edit Play count in any track properties. I also added https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=20038 so that Last Played is updated too.
