Finally got it running.
Stumbled over an Aussie product that perform very well as far as I've found so far. http://www.byremote.com.au/ (HIP)
With a bit of fiddling, I got the remote to work as a Master Volume controller and a MediaMonkey controller, so now there's no problem with ASIO anymore
Currently try to fine tune the 'first click' and 'repeat click' part.
The Behringer speakers are sweet. I think every review you can find praise them up in the sky. I have also seen musicians having studio speakers much more expensive, have gone over to these. The first pair I got had to go back due to one of the tweeters died. Got a new pair of speakers after that, so in addition to good value, the service is great too.
The speakers I used to have cost far more than this just for one, and although they were fantastic for acoustic music, these Beringer Studio Speakers does it all well, and yes, they are loud... very loud, which makes volume leveling of songs very important.
Haven't heard of those MB Quart 1002S..
Added: After some testing the HIP program turned out to be a bit difficult to perform reliably, so I went onto trying an old version of Girder, with a HID plug-in, and that works well it looks like. Hope future version of the original driver makes all of this less of an issue. At times I wish I went for a more 'standard' remote. Anyways, all set now, with ASIO.
