I can easily reproduce a hidden dialog hang 100% of the time by going to Help, Check for Updates. A dialog flashes up and is immediately covered by a blank window and nothing on the interface responds.
I am running MM 5.0.3.2627 on Windows 11 64-bit machine.
The only cure for this is force kill through Task Manager.

Latest 5.0.4. Betas are more optimized for Windows 11 than stable 5.0.3. so make sure you are using latest beta from

I downloaded the latest beta version as suggested and now I get crashes and hangs immediately without having to do anything.
The error message is "Waiting too long for finishing all the list readers, last reader thread..."
There is some dialog window that flashes up and is immediately obscured.

Hi,
This is first time I have heard of such errors with 5.0.4.
You can freely install stable version on top of latest beta, but it looks like problem is deeper than I initially thought. Can you please open support ticket and if possible attach screenshot of error (if you catch it)?

I captured a debug log and submitted it via the interface. I have reverted to the latest stable version. I am going to capture an image of the hidden dialog on the stable version and will submit a ticket.
